RecOil Foam for cleaning firearms after use, for removing fouling and copper. Simply apply the foam into the barrel immediately after shooting, and upon returning home, clean the firearm with patches. It is used to clean the barrel from copper deposits and powder fouling, and it partially dissolves brass and lead residues.
The dense consistency of the foam allows it to adhere reliably and for a long time to the surface without damaging the barrel bore.
Usage instructions:
- Shake the can.
- Insert the nozzle from the chamber end and press the valve until foam exits the muzzle, tilting the barrel downwards. Remove excess foam. Avoid getting foam into the bolt and trigger mechanisms.
- Plug the barrel with patches from both sides and leave it in a horizontal position for 20-30 minutes.
- Clean the barrel by pushing through several dry patches.
- For heavy fouling, repeat the process with a duration of up to 60 minutes. The result of the reaction to copper residues will be the appearance of blue or green coloration in the foam and patches.
- After cleaning, neutralize foam residues using RecOil cleaner-degreaser, and lubricate the barrel with RecOil synthetic gun oil.
