Work & Travel Raid
A collectible patch dedicated to the heroic events of our troops during the Anti-Terrorist Operation.
On July 19, 2014, the longest raid in military history began. The leadership of the ATO issued orders for offensive actions to liberate units of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade, 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, and 79th Airborne Assault Brigade, which, while blocking the Russo-Ukrainian border, became surrounded in the southeastern part of the Luhansk and eastern Donetsk regions. According to the operation plan, units of the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade, 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade, 51st Separate Mechanized Brigade, and 25th Separate Airborne Brigade were to liberate Savur-Mohyla, the settlements of Stepanivka and Marynivka, and establish control over crossings on the River Mius.
The main strike forces were the battalions of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade and the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade, manned by contract service personnel. The main component of the operation was the raid of the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade. For its participation, 400 of the best fighters from the 1st and 13th Separate Airborne Battalions of the brigade were selected.
