To turn on the Fenix E01 V2.0, you need to tightly screw in the head part, and to turn it off, slightly unscrew it. To change modes, turn the flashlight off and on again within 1 second while it is on.

Maximum Mode. The flashlight generates 100 lumens of brightness, with a runtime of 50 minutes using both alkaline batteries and Ni-MH batteries. The beam distance is 35 meters.
Medium Mode. The brightness is 25 lumens, with a runtime of 4 hours and 50 minutes using alkaline batteries and 4.5 hours with Ni-MH batteries. The beam distance is 19 meters.
Minimum Mode. The brightness is 5 lumens, with a runtime of 25 hours using alkaline batteries and 23 hours with Ni-MH batteries. The beam distance is 9 meters.

The flashlight is powered by one AAA (LR03) battery, included in the package. It is recommended to use a Ni-MH rechargeable battery. Alkaline and lithium batteries are also allowed. Lithium-ion batteries are not compatible with this model.
