The Magpul AFG2 (Angled Fore Grip) provides a natural grip on the weapon, which reduces muscle fatigue, increases weapon control, and ensures more prolonged comfortable operation. The design of the angled fore grip was created with the concept of "instinctive shooting" in mind.

The grip is made from a solid piece of reinforced polymer composite. It allows for installation on a standard Weaver/Picatinny rail (MIL-1913).
